Primal cry - 1 .25 second skill Damage (3x): 318 (1.2)? 3 Bleeding (6s): 396 Damage 9 Vulnerability (6s): 9% Incoming Damage, 9% Incoming Condition Damage Number of Targets: 5 Radius: 360 I propose it be reworked into the following… Primal Cry - .5 second skill Damage 318 (1.2)? 2 Bleeding (6s): 264 damage 2 Vulnerability (6s): 2% Incoming Damage, 2% Incoming Condition Damage Daze: 1/4 seconds Number of Targets: 5 Radius: 240 Combo Finisher: Blast Playing axe/dagger/torch condition soulbeast you are limited on CC skills to proc Twice as vicious and pretty much have to rely on certain pets with CC skills. Changing Primal cry will make those pets without CC skills a more attractive choice as you will have access to a CC skill when merged. Thoughts? anduriell.6280 Posted May 27, 2021 Share Posted May 27, 2021 I would merge Primal Cry and Worldly impact and increase the CD to that skills, if the soulbeast is to play a hybrid role it makes more sense to have it like that. Otherwise dagger main hand is the biggest waste of developer time i have ever seen in this game. Same with the pull and the immunity skill. The soulbeast melts as soon as it uses it, a 2 second strike immunity without the stun break would make the soulbeast not to need to dedicate a full utility bar just for the one trick pony. Other classes in the game don't have this absurd requirements. Well, I’m all for giving both daggers, main hand axe and torch a CC skills, but I doubt anet are going to go down that path, unfortunately. 😔 I dream for the day torch 4 gets a daze and torch 5 becomes a pulsing burning/blinding field. 🤤 Reworking Primal Cry into something a little more useful would kill 2 birds with 1 stone, buffing a trash skill and giving condi soulbeasts a little more CC so they don’t need to picks 1 of 5 deadly pets that include CC skills or take shortbow so they could proc Twice as Vicious. I thought that SBeast would have been a Condi oriented spec, turns out they buffed Dagger power damage so it becomes everything and nothing. You can do more or less the same condi DPS with Axe/OH and Shortbow, then Sword on power DPS. SB Dagger has no identity and is unrelated to the elite spec. You can give it to any other classes and it would work, because it does nothing special. Completly boring and BLAND.
