Kuma.1503
Even with the pool of options shrinking, One of the things I still enjoy about PvP is coming up with new builds to play. I've been messing around with a few more in both ranked and unranked and I've stumbled across a few that I think could be worth trying. Naturally I am open to feedback on how the build can be improved. Where it might be lacking, ect. Outside perspectives are certainly helpful. Here is a new Scrapper build I came up with that takes advantage of the new quickness trait to be a menace in both 1v1s and in teamfights as a pseudo-support Condi Bunker Scrapper Pressure Your pressure in this build is going to come from your pistol skills, Flamethrower 2 and Egun 3 in conjunction with quickness. With this build, you have 1375 condition damage and plenty of cover conditions in your burst. Mortar kit is able to provide additional cover condis with pulsing poison, chill, and blind. I regularly top dps with this build despite it's bunkery nature because you will output a lot of damage over time. Sustain You have plenty of sustain on this build. You will give yourself a burst of healing every time you use a toolbelt skill thanks to Soothing Detonation. Super Elixir and Elixir Shell both provide both you and your team with nice AoE healing. You can blast your water fields with Flamethrower 2, Egun 4 or Shield 4 for additional healing. You gain some minor healing from compouding chemicals when you gain a boon, this is more noticable in teamfights when you have allies to provide you with additional boons. You have plenty of cleansing in this build, which allows you to run Rabid amulet, in addition to protection and traces of resolution, you will be very difficult to kill. Rune of Orr is taken to further increase your durability against conditions while providing additional condi pressure. Defense Your ability to survive outnumbered comes from a variety of sources. You have your shield blocks, some pulsing blinds with Flash shell, Very high uptime of superspeed for kiting. Sigil of Escape is run specifically to deal with binding roots. Because immobilize + cover condis is fun interactive gameplay. If you're not particuarly worried about this though (or if they enemy team doesn't have any rangers) you can swap this out for something else. You have high natural toughness thanks to rabid amulet, plus protection, plus a bit of resolution thansk to Hidden Flask. Mobility You can blast your Function Gyro for swiftness You gain superspeed from Med Gyro, Reconstruction Field (toolbelt), Toss Elixir U, and Function Gyro. You can use Acid Bomb as another source of mobility Teamfights You actually have a good amount of pressure for training things down thanks to quickness. With the recent patch, Scrapper is actually the best source of AoE quickness in PvP. You can take advantage of this to give your team an advantage in teamfights. You've got some phenominal AoE clenases with Fumigate, your med gyro toolbelt, and super elixir (in conjunction with blast finishers). You can also provide a small amount of AoE healing and rez power with function gyro. - - - - - Overall, this could shape up to be a good all-rounder build that can teamfight, 1v1, survive outnumbered, and even rotate decently thanks to superspeed. Lmao I watched it and there was a guy who played a condi holo build that was very similar to the one I posted here. The he may not have been doing the double smouldering meme and he had supply crate instead of PLB. Rest of the utilities were identical. This convinces me that I should post my wacky ideas more often.

Crozame.4098
I might be wrong, but it feels like you just spam through all your offence abilities, and since its condi based, quite hard to tell which one should dodge. I think ANET should discourage this kind of game play.
