Sorry, was ironically expressing my disappointment, yet again, as I've been on Gandara from the beginning and I'm fed up with these kind of relinks happening every time.

Last week, I was getting the Outnumbered buff wherever I went, on Gandara. Never hit Diamond rank that fast, ever. This week, no link, vs Desolation. There's only 1 explanation: someone at ANet is helping me get the last tickets I need very fast.

Anet is just helping deso becasue it is a PvE server, developers don't want to upset pve players so they don't cry on reddit about game being too hard.

Its about time Anet  shed some light how the linking procedure works,numbers 2 and 3 in population(Gandara and SFR) dont get a link and number1(Deso) does???

This reeks(very much) of Anet giving in to the bandwagoning gems instead of trying to keep match-ups balanced.

Removing a link from Gandara, and giving a link to Desolation, is frankly absurd.

 

I do not have statistics, I do not have cumulative played hours across each server.

 

But the first hand insight I do have is just overwhelmingly such that Desolation's population far exceeds Gandaras. I would dearly love to see any data presented to support these linking decisions (such as the charts around Blackgate's population several years ago), but I can't begin to imagine such a logic is working as intended.

 

As Kruimjelte said, this just stinks of Anet trying to bleed some money from people transferring. Such a pity, as a competitive WvW mode with a hint of consideration would bring in more players than you'd be making from at most a few hundred people paying $10.
