I didnt play GW2 for v long time (5y+). I want get back for new dlc and my q is.

Should i pick server base on its WvW ranking? or should i stay on my current one

My current server rank is #26 EU looking on gw2 leaderboards

How painfull it will be playing WvW on server like that?

You can pretty much have a fun experience in WvW in any tier. It doesn't depend as much on the ranking of the server than it depends on its people. Some servers have an overall friendlier tone than others, a more active public zerg community etc. It's hard to answer your question based on rank alone, and I have only been on two servers so far, so I can't speak from experience about other servers' playerbase.

The rank of a single server doesn't mean much nowadays, because some years ago server-links were implemented to even out the population imbalance between the servers. So even your server has a low population, you can hope that the linking partner has enough people.

As the last relink just happened yesterday (relink is every last friday of the uneven month) and many people switch the first days after a relink, I recommend to try WvW for some time to see how your server and the linked server were affected by the relink.

Only transfer once you have a reason for it. Rank doesn't mean much. You will get linked with different servers and will be able to see the differences. But due to relinking and transfer situations change.
