Aodlop.1907
It contrasts so much with the armor, which dims appropriately when the lighting is off. Human skin in the dark is just way too bright to the point where it's actually ridiculous. 1
AgentMoore.9453
<LAUGHS IN SYLVARI> But honestly, if this is an issue, wait until you try matching your dyes in more than one map. What looks good in Queensdale is jarring in Divinity's Reach. The way character models (and dyes and textures) interact with map lighting is kinda.. not amazing. It's been not-amazing for years, but new issues have been piled on over time. For instance, a lot of the new outfits have a strange white sheen to them that sometimes vanishes (and sometimes doesn't) when you zoom in and out on your character. Additionally, recent gear and mount cosmetics seem to have stray red pixels woven into the edges of the models (on all shader settings, sadly). Most days, I have to squint at my color choices and say 'good enough' because the nature of map lighting is always going to mess things up for me. Maybe that also happens with Human skin, but it isn't just that. 1

If they do an update, I'd prefer it be a specific option uncoupled from the rest of the post processing, since I really enjoy post processing. I noticed that this isn't as much of an issue with post processing off and stuff, but then you miss out on some cool visual effects. cheers!
