Will the Identity Repair Kit allow me to change "My Story"?

As the title asks, does the Identity Repair Kit allow me to change the "My Story" part of a character that I want to name & gender change? This is for a Charr & I would like to change Blood to Iron & also change my sparring partner. These are selected at the time of character creation, but with the gender & name change, I also want to change the creation choices. I did try to look this up, but cannot find any information that deals with this specific question.

The Identity Repair Kit lets you change your character's name, gender and appearence, nothing else.

 

There is no way to change story choices, you would have to delete the character and make a new one if you want to do that. (If I remember correctly Anet have sometimes looked into making it possible but it can lock you out of the story entirely and they couldn't find a way to stop that happening.)

Thanks for the information. Glad I did not waste gold by jumping the gun!

Seems unfortunate that it doesn't work as the new gender & identity can sometimes fit better with different story choices...
