Second "Tooth of Frostfang" for a second "Frostfang"

I was able to craft my first legendary and it is "Frostfang". I wanted to make another one for a "twice told legend" achievement, but now I am not allowed to craft "Tooth of Frostfang" again.
Why?

Think it was meant as a one time access to bypass the original nature of rng dropping precursors, not as a replacement method of acquisition.

Why?  Because you can only complete the Precursor Collection once.

You can create another Frostfang, but you will need to acquire the Precursor by way of another method.

 

You can purchase one from the Trading Post for ~300 Gold.

Very nice. They can make stuff to be purchased on the account only once a day or a week. They could have made a feature where you can choose one and only one precursor to be made twice in order to get the "twice told legend". But no... Arenanet likes to go down the harder road.

You could have purchased one of the least expensive precursors, then done the matching collection.

It's always best to research any expensive or long endeavors in the game.  The Wiki is a great resource of all things Guild Wars 2.
