Joote.4081
What is the deference between Warbeast, oiled and normal gossamer recipes? I can find nothing in the descriptions, very confusing. Edited June 1, 2021 by Joote.4081
TheQuickFox.3826
Type the exact name of the items in the GW2 wiki to get a full description and information about their useshttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_Page
Danikat.8537
I can't log in to check in-game at the moment but as far as I can see from the Wiki warbeast armour can only be made with normal gossamer pieces and the oiled ones are for making other things. Oiled gossamer pieces make armour with specific stat combinations (Commander's, Harrier's, Marshall's, Minstrel's, Seraph, Vigilant, Viper's and Wanderer's) but none of them have the warbeast skins. Warbeast armour requires harrier's insignia to craft but using the warbeast recipe produces an item with a different skin and selectable stats, not the Harrier's Bounty Hunter's armour made with oiled pieces.
Tzarakiel.7490
If you have the patience to unlock the recipes for the HoT guild armor then you should make that if you need any hard to get armor stat. Those sets let you pick stats and are cheap to craft once you have the recipes. Edited June 1, 2021 by Tzarakiel.7490

This is like the 10th time someone told you to just use the wiki.

Not very helpful.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Different recipes have different costs to produce, use different ingredients, and will produce different items. For example: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gossamer_Coat_Panel https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Oiled_Gossamer_Coat_Panel https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Warbeast_Gossamer_Coat_Panel It depends on what final result one is hoping to attain.
