N&A says "we'll resolve in an update next week", but isn't it over next week? 🤔😔🐼

After the initial week, those events go to the "Side Stories" achievement tab.

I know, but I'll be working on "next week" next week. 😀

it's funny that people are acting like it's a 3 hour long map-meta that needs completing;  it's 3 llamas, that we already know the locations of, that we have mounts to reach, it will take 2 mins IF we need to find them again, most likely the game will run a check to see if we've already got the old achievement, and we'll just be given the acheivement when we log in next week. 🤣

Well yeah, but there's no drama in that. 🙂

I could live with them just giving me the achievement next week. 😉

If that is the case (which we know it isn't) that would mean that ArenaNet have the best coders in the universe, considering how stable the vast majority of releases are.

Welcome to the internet. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Here on the forums, on many, if not all, forums, we like to "spice up" our rhetoric with a technique called "hyperbole" every now and then. While it makes the statements less accurate in a scientific or semantic way, it gives the author of a post the option, to, for example, simplify a complicated matter to make it easier to digest, or to give a phrase a spin to be of a more comedic nature. The post you are referring to is, tbh an oversimplification and an exageration of what I think is the case. But instead of writing a long and convoluted text, where i differentiate and balance the difficulties of game development, especially in an MMO, with the expectations of the playerbase, a text where I carefully construct an argument that, on the one hand informs the reader about my perception of the state of QA, my wishes and expectations and my past with the game; and on the other hand shows how things might be improved, or how it's not all that bad; I'd rather post a short salty commonplace, a meme(it's a different thing on the interwebs, but it's too complicated to explain right now) if you want to call it that. I am sorry, that I didn't post the adequate preface and epilogue to point out the creative technique used in the post.
