Oola's lab. Bugged or no?

I have the power crystal to unlock the door to the lab and have told Orl that I have it yet it still will not react at all with the lock.  Anyone know what's going wrong here?

I went back today and it worked first time.  Wouldn't budge yesterday.

Funny thing is there was a queue of people there trying to get it to work today but failing.

I think it's if you explore the lab first with the help of your bunny then try to open the quest after it fails.

This happened to me today as well.

Talking to Orl indicated I had the correct item as he literally told me to insert the crystal into the Matrix Lock but it wasn't interactable

I spent around 30min waiting around cause wiki indicated there might be some dialog happening.

Apparently this is an indefinite stall and all you can do is change the map (which might take a while due to Metrica Province not being very populated).

Found other reports to this stalling as far back as late 2019 so yeah, sad life. Gotta wait until the next Fire Elemental world boss and hope to get on a different shard.

Yeah, I got it now.

One thing I noticed when playing the correct version was that on the stalled map the NPC essentially initiated the second dialog about the inner door while still standing in front of the first "door", thus being miles away from the Matrix Lock which is probably part of the criteria for making the thing interactable.
