Is my idea of plaguedoctor FD viable for Wvw?

I was going to equip my guardian with the typical support healing build with minstrels stats.

But considering the actual deplorable state of WvW linking and Anet not showing interest to fix it in short term, I see that I'll go with my healing FB in empty maps roaming with groups of 5people.

And in EB the queues make me discard the possibility to wait till I can join a zerg.

I've come to the conclusion that plaguedoctors will be better for a support guardian in the actual wvw. Although healing is low in this stat combination it will heal better than a condi trailblazer.

Also I could mix apothecary which main stat is healing with plague.

 

Does anyone tried what I want to try? To avoid me wasting equipment and then regret it.

In redit some people says is decent while others say dont.

You will be the slowest person in your group. Competent players will focus u down first and there's nothing u can do about it, so expect to be dying more than your teammates. If you're fine with that, then roaming FB would work.

Part of the reason why support FB runs the gear it does is because people focus it down quickly. It needs to be able to survive power burst, which plaguedoctor's doesn't do well...

I get that the lack of thoughness may be a issue, but tempest has light armor and has its place as healer.

tempest has infinitely more mobility and active defenses than FB. with tempest u cant port/leap out or use evades/invulns when ur getting pressured. on FB u either out-heal the dmg or u go down.
