Problem with buying gems

Yesterday I bought gems with a mastercard and went through every step of the process succesfully. However I never got an e-mail with an order number or confirmation that I purchased gems (like all my previous purchases). As far as I know no money was charged until this point in time and I haven't received any gems either. Does this mean the purchase didn't went through or is there something else going on?
