Cant undertand

Tried a scurge build after stuggling agains it (not many run it, mainly only one dude that i know of ) it is basicly immortal and spewing out tons of condis. 

How can it be so powerfull and not get nerfed ? my main is nerfed and way less powerfull as a roamer and have no place in sqad play ( ranger ) so why is this build (and 2- 3 on other classes ) alowed to be so much more powerful than the rest ? 

Other in smal scale and roaming that is overtuned is ele , holo and thief  ( up until recent patch condi rev where there too )

And for the sake of it give mirrage back 2 doges ( dont play mesmer , but i can see it hurt them alot  )

Rangers can kill necros from range easily with 1500+ range, knockdowns, immobilizes...

And all the condi's the scourge is "spewing" it's converting your boons to conditions, to mostly torment that was recently nerfed for wvw.

 

Maybe check your build, because necro can be handled by the top roaming classes which includes rangers..

Yes i would say that 95%- 98% of necros are free bags but not this build , and tried with several ranger builds.

and my ranger build dont use any boons apart from prot

 

 

And no ranger is a decent roamer but no way near top roamer.

I mean there's a thread in this very part of the forum bragging about ranger builds.

Ranger is one of the top roamers, they have plenty of tools available to use to do it, long range, burst, cc, stealth, immobilize, sustain, gap closers. So if you don't think it's your build I dunno what to tell you.

It is a very spesefic scourge build that is broken beyond anything i have ever seen in wvw last 8 years, wont post it so we dont have 30% off all roamers use it for a year like that condi rev build that could 2 vs 1 most

 

What i dont understand is why those builds that popp up time to time that rly overpreform in wvw smal scale can be in the game for so long periods before they are dealt with.  

Some these get nerfed from bigger changes making me think that they get nerfed is only a side effect of other changes, and that their overpreformance is never thougt to be problematic.

 

Many classes have had these  problems

Between core necros, reapers and scourges, the scourges are usually the easiest target to bring down in small scale because core is a hell of a lot tankier and reaper bring far better stuns/single target damage in shroud. Scourge does AoE better but that cant really be leveraged until 10+.

First you say you won't post it so people don't play it, and yet you complain why are builds allowed to be broken for so long....

Devs can't nerf something they don't know about now can they?

If it's broken post it so the devs can see it, otherwise don't complain about it.

I don't know what's going on here in this thread but it looks like a lot of people saying a lot of things, who don't actually roam much or who are just very inexperienced.

 

Two things that are true:

 

  1. Soulbeast and actual good Druids are definitely in the upper tiers of powerful roamers.
  2. Necros as roamers get destroyed by ranged. The only exception I've seen to this is surprisingly full DPS Reapers who run rune of speed so they can stay on top of things to execute kills. <- Those can actually be dangerous vs. ranged classes when the ranged classes cannot kite them at all unless they have enormous stealth output.

A well Reaper with projectile hate can kill a ranged class even without speed runes. When I roamed on my reaper regularly pre Feb2020 rangers were free bags for me and I didn't even use those runes.

 

Edits b4 salt posts: Most WvW players, including Rangers, are bad players. Most Rangers I've fought never noticed CPC until its too late.

1. Yes they are in the upper part in roaming but not on top

2. That Reaper build is dangerus if you get caugth by it but it can be dealt with

 

 

Been solo roaming 8 years now , apart from some spvp that is all i do in this game

 

But now off too feel powerfull on scurge 😄
