Arenanet, Why didn't you fix this for the return to season 2?!

are you ever going to fix this?!

 

Remove disgusting luck factor and have the kitten shield break every time it's hit by Light Bash.

Alternatively, if you can't fix it, just remove it.

 

Having to try 20 - 30 times, if not even more often, is just a waste of time!

Seems to be a timing thing.  You have to wait a certain period of time before it will let you break it.  Seems to be unbreakable for about 30 seconds, but after that, no trouble actually making it work.  It may be a timing thing for the whole episode, and with dps higher than it used to be, the instance is making us wait.  Every time I do it, the first 2 attempts seem to fail, but then I can break it no problem.

Every 3rd sun dash breaks the shield for me as well... Sometimes first dash

Literally get him in one every time and always have. Have you tried targeting him first?

I tried:

With and without targetting him,

using the skill to end the dash early, not using said skill,

hitting him between his pulses and during the pulses

 

and all kinds of combinations between them.

No matter how often I repeat that mission on different characters, nothing reliably works for me.

Your not supposed to end said skill use it and let it run into him.
