PSA: Rune of The Stealth God just got buffed

Yes, you can now burn your heal and 66% of your utility bar all at once instead of staggering them by 1 second. Huge dude. 

 

For those of you that doesn't realize it. This will change absolutely nothing for trapper runes, it is solely a quality of life change for Scrapper.

I mean you "lol"d back we were calling out trapper runes on guard, think it was something about how it wasn't even a power rune.....

 

I would rather things not become a problem.

Trapper runes still aren't an issue. I've always said that they are unfun to play against, but they are far from overpowered.

Imagine thinking that losing a carry rune means you get free health. Do only builds that used trapper get the health buff with trapper gone? I'm sure FB wouldn't mind a health buff because it lost a rune it has no use for.

Mobility creep is actually destroying the sheer dynamic of conquest play to a much worse extent than power creep ever did.

 

It is ruining the purposes behind job roles. Now conquest is becoming a lot more zergy like a death match, and a lot less based around the 4 traditional job roles. The game mode is losing its distinctive flavor of play due to mobility creep.

They're phasing thief out of the meta by making other classes able to zoom from node to node so "BuT MoBiLiTy" can't be used to automatically shut down any argument against thief being able to do any damage.

 

They will then fail to give thief the damage.

 

I for one look forward to sandbagging just by playing thief in conquest, like how playing thief is sandbagging in 2v2 and 3v3. People already blame them for match losses.

Movement speed is capped at +33% out of combat, so this change doesn't change much of anything in terns of roles. 

Thief still has by far the best out of combat mobility in sPvP.

Because its annoying to run great distances where you cannot mount in PvE. I don't think PvP was was even considered when decided superspeed can stack.
