In this update, we are focusing on remaining skill tuning and bug fixes as a follow up to the May 11 balance update. We wanted to give special attention to small quality-of-life issues experienced by several professions.

 


Was wondering if Signet of Undeath was on the list of possible tuning?
I cannot tell you how many times I have gone to cast this and the target either teleports out of it or is finished before it completes casting. That said, whether it "actually" works or not, it takes your health regardless.

Would be amazing if, when there was no target available to resurrect, it would just fizzle/cancel the skill.

I'm affraid rallying skills is a sensitive subject to touch. For a lot of players in competitive mode thoses skills are more or less an insult to their ego. Signet of Undeath having a pretty low cast time would already be on those players "nerf to do" list, seeing a buff or QoL added on it would be like pocking the hornet nest.

Agree with both Dadnir and KrHome; SoU is potent enough in competitive game modes to justify the long cast time.

 

For PvE, I do wish it could restore defeated players to the downed state as an additional function, though. I agree the long cast time takes the utility's value away for PvE groups.
