River.5891
I have a sun/flame themed charr that I really like. He has the spiky, blonde hair with red tips. Honey colored fur (idk how to stick a picture in here). He's a revenant. I've been wanting to dress him up and have been looking into it. Anyone know of any armor sets or outfits that'd suit a sun and/or flame theme or could be dyed to suit him? I want something that won't cover his hair. I love the requiem armor (without helmet), but that's a lot of mistonian and the skyscale currencies are still fresh in my mind. XD. I've been thinking of going for the mistward armor instead (maybe requiem later and keep the head piece on mistward), but idk how it'd look after dying it up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Edited June 10, 2021 by River.5891
Infusion.7149
I'd look into the entire armor collection here: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Charr_male_heavy_armor as well as outfits: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Charr_male_outfits Gemstore items:https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fallen_Balthazar_Outfithttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Forged_Outfithttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lunatic_Guard_Outfit Not sure how much AP you have but Hellfire armor seems fitting: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hellfire_armor
HnRkLnXqZ.1870
An armor-combination that does not look like fire in general, but can be dyed that way is this: https://i.imgur.com/n9TIZR9.jpg (adding pictures to posts is still disabled, we can only post links. We can however link Twitter stuff, if you have pictures in a tweet, those will be displayed. But that is more than a horrible idea.) The armor is a mix of Bounty Hunter Armor (Chest + Tassets) and Twilight Arbor Armor (gloves, shoulders and boots). Bounty Hunter is one of the most difficult armor-skins to acquire, so you can also try with a full Twilight Arbor set. I have made a fire-themed character a while ago and noticed that all kinds of plant-related skins can be turned into fire-theme if you use the right dyes. As most of the real fire armors/outfits are quite expensive, this is a cheap alternative. While I was at the Charr, I took a look at the Mistward Armor you have mentioned and found this combination: https://i.imgur.com/MwthHlT.jpg It does not really look like fire or so, but the leg-piece fits well with the Mistward chest piece. The skins are Ascalonian Catacombs Armor (shoulders & boots), Mistward Armor (chest) and Ornate Guild Armor (leggings and gloves). - Dear ANet, same as with the broken-links on the Vanilla Forums, this is a horrible situation. Give us back the picture-option. If you cannot get the Invision Community stuff working, imgur works great.
mikansei.5742
The Mistward chestpiece has a lightly glowing channel that would probably dye up nicely. In the wiki images here it's the red/yellow channel on the charrs' chestpieces. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mistward_armor#Charr Halloween's still a ways away, but the Lunatic heavy armor has (sadly undyeable) flaming bits. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lunatic_Templar_armor#Charr Citadel of Flame dungeon armor is more "literally on fire" than just "fiery," but some pieces might work. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Flame_Legion_armor_(heavy)#Charr There's some Zephyrite-themed skins that might work: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sun-Touched_Zephyrite_Gloves_(heavy) (and the upgraded Sun-Blessed version that needs a lot of quartz but is much shinier). The gemstore headpiece https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sun_Aspect_Eye, that unfortunately only comes in a pack with the wind & lightning symbol headpieces, is just a floating forehead symbol that won't cover hair. There's also the Flamewrath gemstore armor, which is just the low level pit fighter skins but On Fire™, though IMO it's a little underwhelming for 800 gems. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Flamewrath_armor#Charr
Danikat.8537
Just in case you're not already aware you can preview all the armour sets on your character by going to any bank and using the Wardrobe tab (3rd button down on the left side of the bank menu). But from memory my recommendation would be the lunatic armour from Halloween. It's more subtle than many flaming effects (more smouldering) but I think that looks good, won't overshadow your character and I think the armour dyes nicely. I'd probably use different shoulders (or just hide them) because they're a bit too obviously halloween themed for me and maybe hide the gloves because they don't add much besides spikes and that lets some of your charr's fur show still.

Can I also direct you to gw2style.com - big site for displaying your characters and you use it for inspiration and search for something that is similar to your theme.
