Hidden Arcana - Constant Disconnects

Hey, not sure why this occurs but it always seems to follow an ingame cutscene. This particular chapter gave me trouble the first time around when it was released and it continues to do so even now.

Usually I DC right after defeating the darkness shard and click the memory - A couple of times I have made it to the final boss or beat him only do DC as Marjory and Kasmeer start talking.

I've restarted my client after every dc and achieved a different level of progression before each DC and i've seen a number of threads that indicate i'm not the only one. 

 

if it happens to you, post here and post what seems to have caused it, we need dev support on this

I have a thread posted about the same story event. Mine has happened after beating Facet of Light and going to start cut scene. The response from anet was " is it a crash or a dc-- there is a difference" which really is of no use whatsoever.

And after a second post was told to find an old Dev thread-- found it -- and it no longer exists.  So good luck getting any help.

I don't know why you think forum posters are Devs, but some of us do try to help. 

 

And there is a difference between a crash, which would have certain specific troubleshooting criteria, and disconnections, which have different troubleshooting criteria.
