No weapon swap is felt hard on Weaver.

I'm having fun in PvP with it, and the lack of ranged options isn't a big deal there. But in open world PvE, coming from Reaper where I can pull every monster to me and cleave them all down in 0,7 second with Shroud 4, Weaver is way slower.

The complete and total lack of ranged abilities is not a lot of fun. 

 

In WoW, Survival hunters are a melee spec, but they have a spell called "Aspect of the Eagle" that turns their main attack into a ranged ability. I kind of wish we had that with Weaver sometimes.

That not realty an weaver problem its an ele problem. Mages in gw2 are melee only classes most of the time (sadly staff and scpter are more short ranged weapons then long ranged they could even been melee). What ele lacks is conja weapons being kit or kit like where it lets you "wepon swap" into them much more freely then they are now even if its just a charge cast system where you have 2 charges for the conja weapons to make sure you can pull it out 2 times in 1 min and not just simply waist one on the ground.

100% agree. Ele really needs conjures to be updated to ammo skills and just a general overhaul to ensure these skills cover ele's lack of a swap.
