I have one wish only: remove trailblazer and dire..then I don't care what you do after

I don't care what you do or say after, just remove trailblazer and dire , the game full of this condi trash from small roaming, to large fight...all I see and face are these tanky condi cheese builds that never dodge and just facetank damage:

And if things were not bad enough before you went and buffed celestial, so the whole scene full with condi hybrids tanking the whole kitten planet.....this is truly not the same game I started with in 2012, I had big hopes after the success of GW1 ..but this now...this is just sad

I commend you for breaking the forum, and yes that's acceptable.  

I would have said Vipers as the only gear allowed, but the expertise ruin it. Without it, GW2 should have been like it's supposed to - everyone run the same gear, everyone is glass cannons, everyone is max power, everyone is max condi, everyone has 35% crit chance base.

No, build variety is good and to me it is a main source of satisfaction from the game.

And my fragile ellies need quite a bit of toughness and vitality to not get "huh, wth" oneshot in WvW.

 

Hence I always run hybrid builds like I posted in this thread:

gear, damage type, stats it doesn’t really matter because cc is what wins the game

Just give all skills in all professions across the game some CC. Then we will fight each other with 20k health while dealing 7 dmg per strik and we will try to stun the enemy more times than us to win, rather than kill them. 

 

You could always try to kill them tho. May only take 1 or 2 thousand hits.

Allowing only gear that increases every attribute is quite nonsensical. In that case they could just increase everyone's base attribute numbers by 639 and remove the whole "gear grants additional attributes" mechanic.

you don't increase diversity by decreasing diversity, thats quite nonsensical. caps on condis/ boons should exist, maybe even gear, but this is all theory for another game. the difference between caps and less gear choices i hope is apparent.

That’s essentially how the game is now lmao. Obviously it’s not technically cc taking people from 100%-0, but it is probably single handed the thing that gets us killed in most outnumbered fights and for a small group we take all the stab options possible

At this point I'm just convinced people are being willfully ignorant to the fact that Condition builds are flat out bad in WvW with a handful of exceptions. Just because a couple builds are strong, and only so in small >10 scale or 1v1s, doesn't mean Condition stats or builds across the board are an issue, nor are they enjoying some kind of advantage that Power doesn't have.
Toughness and Vitality are necessary stats for Condition builds to work. I'm not going to pretend Trailblazer is a perfectly balanced stat, because it's not, but even with a huge pool of health and armor things like this can still occur. Can't very well attrition that.

And if things were not bad enough before you went and buffed celestial, so the whole scene full with condi hybrids tanking the whole kitten planet.....this is truly not the same game I started with in 2012, I had big hopes after the success of GW1 ..but this now...this is just sad

Also, no downstate.

If there is no downstate then no respawn is needed to make it fair. So if you wipe a zerg inside your T3, they'll stay there until another zerg comes and res them. Since it would be dangerous to commit all your forces at once, zergs naturally break up into smaller units. The zerging problem solved on top of class balance!

So, "we" really think condi is a problem in the game right now when 90% of WvW is about Power builds? I can't remember getting killed by a condi build since they nerfed Torment. 
I don't know how anyone with half a brain cell would think "power builds need more skill". Is that some weird turn to tell yourself you are a good player because you play a power build and no longer want to feel mediocre?
