It was explicitly presented as a 'She' bot creation from Scarlet. Compare the old and the new trailer and you can see that not only the chest has been changed but also the behind. Quite disrispectfull to the original creators/artists. It could have had a makeover without totaly deleting all Femininity. It's somewhere in the background and above you but the event takes place in the lanes outside it and on little platforms next to it where you fight different watchwork bosses. It's almost exactly like the Vinewrath event in Silverwastes - how relevant would it be if they changed how the Vinewrath itself looks? When do you actually get to look at it? For the same reason I don't understand why they'd take the time to change it, because it's not something that gets seen much/at all so it doesn't really matter what it looks like, but I don't think it will affect the event at all. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hope I have read wrong. In the new video the Marionette is completely flat chested. Comparing the models before and after they didn't just make the breasts smaller, they removed them entirely. It still looks somewhat female because of the shape of the hips and waist and the face, but it's not as clearly defined. Which might have been the intention, I can definitely imagine someone at Anet questioning why a robot needs to be visibly female (or male). Having said that my sister had a similar body shape before she had 3 kids and I'd absolutely fight anyone who said she wasn't a "real woman" and did once nearly lose a friend over it. I might have said some pretty terrible things to her when we were teenagers but she's my sister, it's different (and she gave as good as she got). I think it is a issue that for robots that have autonomy of a naked barbie and ken dolls, the current iteration looks more similar to genderneutral andriods in Irobot than the fembots shown in futurama, which appears to have been the inspiration of the girst iteration. Yes the old iteration was htpersexualized, but make it clear it was female. Even c3p0 has a noticable bulge so you can identify its gender.
