I hope you have a good day 😩🙏

Uuh fr tho, have a build to stay on topic or something.

Core condi warrior cause why not. Is it bad? Meh. Can it actually do some dmg? Sure. Is it boring? Not rly, dual sword pretty sweet to play with. Makes you rly want some OH sword buffs and QoL stuff. Can run with Mace/Warhorn for some close quarters combat and defense as well as some weakness ig.

Imagine, for me to play condi builds how boring the scene is rn... 💤

Although it's more kinda hybrid.. 🤔

Off-hand sword is under-rated.

I have a lot of fun with it. Skill 4 can be very meaty dmg if timed with sigils and some modifiers from Furious. This build lacks some precision to be desired, but I think it would be much better to bumb up all the ticking heals (signet+rune+food although food doesn't scale) and my shouts for survivability. Instead of going full nasty trailblazer tank or something.

Ohh and you can play with discipline traits. Go for cracks hot, or destruction of the Empowered or heightened focus. They can all provide good utility, be it lower CD on bow and condi, more overall dmg or quickness from ticking condis allowing you to pop a heal or focus a target and load them with stuff.

I ran this after the Cele update:

Face tanked Lich Form Reapers and holos with it.

I mean, the general idea was one. Condition dmg, precision. Power modifiers are meh if I want to go with condi main Stat. Toughness and vitality add some survivability, expertise I can get from food and traits via some precision. Healing power I went for, due to the multiple small packets of healing.

I don't have any other condi oriented trinkets outside the rabid/dire ones, so I built up with those. Ideally, I wouldn't mind a full Marshal warrior.

I have Leggy trinkets, armor, runes, and several weapons so stat availability isn't an issue for me, so I tinker a whole lot.

Full Marshal is fun btw, you should pull the trinkets together.

Conflux isn't too hard to get btw. MUCH easier than Vision or Aurora.

Edits:

Since the new amulet is apparently even easier to get I recommend trying to shore up your Legendary Armory now that it is out.

Vision isn't too bad. Aurora's difficulty is in doing the JPs if no Mesmer is around or someone isn't around at the final chest to use TP to a Friend items on. Henge is just a timegate.

Beyond that other legendaries are just time and money sinks.

Yup everything is on the plans!

I can make rn 4 pieces of WvW leggy armor, and all the leggy runes (just need to buy some mats for the gifts). Sigils will come last. As for trinkets, I've done some progress with crafting 2 conflux (would have gone for a normal and a slumbering pre armory) and the warbringer (just need to grind tickets).

For amulet, I'll do the PvE one tbh. Especially now that I know the event will be over months before EoD.

But.... There's always but... I work all day for the summer now so everything has been put to a halt. This build I came up with after I saw some people say in the forum how core condi is basically nonexistent. But I tried to form something here... It kinda failed, but I learned good stuff from it. Stats can make this work much better.

Core condi is more of a core hybrid. LB and SW/SW have too high power coefficients and too low condi stack application to be pure condi.

Marshal is good, grieving with defensive runes would work too, as would viper. Cele does pretty well in all honesty, just pair it with decent runes and sigils. Use the blinds from LB and weave them between skills when you need to give your sustain time to work.

@Grand Marshal.4098 I came across someone playing this build a few months back in WvW:

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PKABk6x/lZwwYgsQmJe6X+tVA-z1QYs4hDGA-w

Very hard to fight against. My memory is a little fuzzy, so I'm not sure if he was running Discipline or Arms, but he did have defense and shield mastery. I don't recall what his defensive procs might have been, but he was very tanky and was at least running Rabid stats given it was a tanky condi build that still crit me a fair bit. Not sure on the Runes, but Lich would be my guess as well.

Perhaps tinker with that some if you get the chance to?

Ooh now that's useful for what I run rn.

Ngl kinda miss sword OH with this Zerker already lmao, but torch and shield give enough defense to not go for CI.

Will def try it out. Thx Lan!

Probably wasn't running arms. It pains me to say it, but Zerker may as well be more viable as a condi option than a core Warr for obvious reasons. They should rly make bleed on crit guaranteed in Arms and all the changes we have said in the past to enhance condi gameplay. Some weakness in arms may be good too since cull the weak rivals dogged March and shield master.

Like I said, I wasn't sure if they did arms or discipline. This warrior paced everything out and played patiently. He camped mace/shield for reflects against the opening burst of any range class then used Berserk for Skull Grinder. Even on sword he did not spam Flaming Flurry, but kept in on reserve to reflect projectile attacks if ranged players were nearby. He used Torch and savage leap to keep burn stacks ticking on you and only used FF after counting your cleanses.
