lake doric sage bugged

I can attest that the High Sage and other areas of the map are bugged in more ways then one.

On the map I was on, the stampede event was frozen at 0 centaurs alive but would not progress. Being that it's not only required for Return but for getting the components for Aurora, and a known issue since his inception (what's with it always being the centaurs like High Sage and Ulguth always being bugged issues?) was hoping this would have been addressed with return.

 

Edit: Given that they've had ample time (I mean, this problem has been since the map's inception and one of the reasons I didn't do Aurora), I'm now doing a kitten it, and posting the map ids that I've encountered that are bugged and not bugged.

 

Honestly, Fire Attunement.9835 can we get any word on this at all? The non-bugged maps fill up really kitten quickly and it is off-putting that this event is required for a Return achievement, is on a timer of 1.5 hour if completed and it wasn't even double checked to make sure the event worked?

1 bug. Next one ... worked. (On a different instance.) This is annoying - considernig that it only appears (afaik) every 90 minutes. While doing those "return to" achievements I think it is a good time to check on this bugs and fix them.

 

Especially considering that later in a few weeks nobody will play this map anymore - except when it is on daily. (Needing to to some work by calling in the chat - to gather people ... or having an own commander tag ... to go to the sage. For players that will start with the game later that still need to to that achievement. If now it get's bugged it will be annoying to have to gather people again.)

Just come from a bugged map (might be one of the ones mentioned above). EU Servers. Map IP address was 18.196.154.133

The Elemental appears to have spawned but was permanently stalled.

This is an old bug, its been here since the map was originally released, along with others such as the SS Pinkeen event stalling, the Quaggan Escort event stalling, The Saidra's Haven event stalling amongst others.

Some QC is required.

Better yet, release a fix with the achievements for the event that will be required. It's not like they don't know beforehand what events they're gonna choose.

I don't know if it has to do with a bug, but I am running my third character in 2-3 years through this map and I never saw this event under way.

Last night we must have been at least 30 people cramming that tower's rim and sky when the red dome aura came on. Nothing happened for 10-15 min. It was almost 2 AM here, so I had to quit. I do not know whether he ever showed up.

The wiki indicates that its timer is not a fixed one, contrary to most metas, and at supposedly 1.5-hour, that's a bummer to wait for. Whoever decides which achievements are on the list, do they check whether they are putting bugged events?

I have just been waiting for 1h30 minutes only to get the event not to start - the bloodstone aura does pop up, but nothing happens, no enemies spawn, nothing at all.

Map IP: 3.120.142.137.

 

This just ruins all the fun of getting to replay the older content - please check if events are actually completable or check if there are bugreports on the wiki before adding the achievement to the list. This just isn't fun, floating above that tower with a skyskale for hours without any result coming out from it.

 

What options are there, do it right after reset?

Hi Team, 
Across multiple map instances this a High Sage group was split across, we found that regardless the map, the Elemental is bugged and could not be attacked. 

This is required for the Season of the Dragon. Can we please ask for an eta on when this will be fixed, if it will sort itself out, or if this achievement required should be removed from the Return To list.

I got it done as well, I just ran GW2 in the morning and jumped on my skyskale while waiting (together with others) for it to pop up.

It popped up within 20 minutes, completed it without an issue.

 

This event could be improved by either having a timer on it that is displayed/having it respawn much quicker and ofcourse resolving the stalling-bug.

 

Anyhows, to not be too negative: try to camp it, if it bugs, use the LFG for another map and wait until it spawns.
Don't hang around in the area, because once the boss spawns he goes down in a minute - stay at the tower.
