Avatar.3568
Since February 2020,i try to make a build with the grieving Amulett, 1k power 500 precision , 500 ferocity and 1k condi. Since this build has no sustain, it's comparable to berserker, but the dmg that it's outputting is to low. Where ever I use it, a pure berserker version works better even with the same sustain. Because the power scaling is atm waaay to low, running demolished and marauder is the same thing but they have at least defensiv stats. Idk raise ferocity for berserker and grieving both for 500? Than we still would have marauder and demo and paladin as defense power amuletts, berserker would be more offensive but also more high risk high reward and we could have an end of the bunkers Edited July 26, 2021 by Avatar.3568
DanAlcedo.3281
Serious question. Has there ever been a build with grieving gear (all game modes) that was actually good?
Khalisto.5780
It s not the amulet, you can't trait to have power condi and sustain.

Both of their griever builds have competitive DPS with all of the others.

Ofc you can, there are also multiple weapon sets that do both, on core ele and core Ranger I have kinda working builds, but non of them is competetiv since they loosing to much dmg spikes and can't survive longer
Genesis.5169
You guys should ask your self is there an actual good condition build in pvp? Even in the so called hay day of condition OP there were only 2 classes that were better in condition and one of them was arguable. Which was Mesmer/and Burn Guardian. And both of them had equally or better power specs. And Mesmer at the time was very arguable with power shatter vs mirage. What you should ask for is the reversion of the condition changes out of the game. Edited July 27, 2021 by Genesis.5169

In the past we had even more before

Ill give you condition scourge but that was for other reasons like complete area denial. Fire weavers don't exist they are traited to heal with water almost 100% of the time, if your were going to outright kill people back then it was Fresh air. There was never ever a condition meta, there was never a time where condition was prevalent but the forums sure made it seem so.

Unknown.6851
I like both of these amulets, I do wish grieving had more condition damage but until they allow us to customize our own amulets in PvP this is almost as good as it gets.
Leonidrex.5649
hybrids dont work, and glass cannon condi builds dont work, which is why grieving wont work as an amulet there isnt many ways that can buff both condi and power damage ( mostly vuln and might ) you could try condi soulbeast as it has very good power damage traits 10% crit and damage from sides 10% after dodge 5% after hard CC 7% when you have fury ( 100% uptime ) 10% when you have more HP then the enemy and all of those despite going full condi, but even then the power damage wont be all that good, and you would be better off with carrion/rabid which lets you actually live long enough to see the condi actually deal its damage. I also dont think buffing amulets will fix anything, classes that rely on those amulets will take them, and just slot more tankyness in their builds, and those that cant afford to take berserker and cant compensate with traits will just get kittened. just fix the traits and skills, amulets are not the problem. And if they want berserker like amulet for condi they could do something like carrion but with less HP and more power and condi ~500 vit ~1100 power ~1400 condi I would use it on many builds.
