Lvl 80 boost

In my country buying the level boost package in the gem store is not available. Would it be okay if someone ought to buy the package and sell the lvl 80 boost to me? or is that no option?

Hrm, bummer.

 

I doubt it could be gifted, since your account could already have the max slots, or no shared slots. I'm not in-game to test it.

 

[edit] you are looking at the level 80 boost, rather than a combo set that includes it? I could see a combo set having a random element to it, but not a straight-up booster.

Are you sure you're looking at the right item? You want the Black Lion Instant Level 80 Ticket which costs 2,000 gems and isn't a bundle.

 

There's also the Path of Fire Preparation Pack, which costs 3,500 gems and includes several items (including black lion keys, which would explain it being banned in Belgium) but if you just want the level 80 boost there's no need to buy the pack.

 

Neither the Level 80 Ticket or the Preparation Pack can be gifted (and it's not possible to buy it yourself and then send it to someone else, it's account bound) so if you're not able to buy the individual 2,000 gem ticket you won't be able to get one. But it's not the only way to instantly level a character.

 

One of the items included in the login rewards is Tomes of Knowledge which give 1 level each. You get 10 per month, and can choose another 6 from the final day's chest, so it will take 5-8 months to get enough that way. You can get more from World vs World and PvP reward tracks. So it's not as quick as buying the boost, but after a while you'll likely have a lot of tomes building up.

If its your first time playing i STRONGLY advise against using a lvl 80 boost. There's a lot of stuff to learn in the game, and even while levelling normally a lot of players don't know how to use basic stuff like dodging, never mind the mechanics that are specific to classes, etc.

If you're somewhat of a veteran, doing PVP, fractals, WvW, or just daily logins will award you Tomes of Knowledge, 80 of these = Lvl 80 boost minus the gear.

Also you could get a deluxe upgrade from the gemstore if you bought standard, which gives you the lvl 80 boost (and this one comes with a shared slot, unlike the ticket thing).

If it is the Path of Fire Preparation Pack the OP is talking about it contains the L80 boost along with other items including black lion keys.  Loot boxes have been made illegal in Belgium and as such Anet blocks the sale of keys or any packages that contain keys for residents of Belgium.

Yes but given the person said they were blocked from buying it and also referenced a boost package my guess was they were talking about the preparation pack.

 

They should indeed have no problem buying just the L80 ticket alone.

I'm guessing the OP was referencing the preparation package which includes a L80 boost and given their wording  "level boost package" and their mention they are blocked from buying it.  That was why I mentioned it in reference to your question since it includes black lions keys it isn't available to players in Belgium.    I'm aware that the L80 claim ticket is available as a single purchase and as I mentioned above should be available to the OP.

Well, i guess if the OP wants the package, tough luck. I assume OP has the single item available, maybe just get that.

And if that's not available, ask Anet about it.
