Did u honestly believe the more frequent balance passes shpeel. They use that card every time players reach a certain level of dissatisfaction with the balance, then they do few follow ups after than return to their infrequent balancing schedule. Been like this for yrs.

After the annoument of eod i knew that was never gonna happend.... but at the very least keep an eye open for quick fixes for broken things that are literally ruining the game.

Ah ok, so at the Tourament of legend we didn see 3 to 4 necros in the same team? I mention 3v3 because it the current season going on right now.

Pulsing Barrier would easily take care of the stacking issues, not forgetting to mention the fact they almost never have to evade because barrier is too chunky at once.

 

They should learn from what Stone Resonance was and is now. Still good, not stupidly good.

The thing is scourge is not only a problem in pvp Mode. It is litterly a problem in ALL game modes. And anet still gives kitten

I don’t think they can change scourge without doing the mirage nerf that completely disables the spec for good. Mirage still has potential to be broken btw, but scourge and necro as a whole have been asking for it since this last season. Minion mancers and immortal res-bot scourges whew!

Scourge isn't that strong how about you swap to a range weapon and don't fight under the AOE, there classes that your aren't supposed to take on directly, you can kite them down if they do not move of the point more often then not they will spam all there CD's hoping that you just fight on top of there massive aoe with all there shields.

 

Don't stand in there AOE use your ranged weapon if your not ranged wait out the AOE.

There are issue's with other classes being too weak not necro's being too strong, condition damage needs to return to really bust bunkers. The people who made necros have a hard time mesmers/ele/thieves only one of them i can say is in an okay spot which are thieves.

 

Also rangers absolutely destroy necros.

fun fact, all scourge weapon skills have AT LEAST 600 range, with most going between 900-1200

Scourge weapon skills are pretty negligible marks and axe skills are easily avoidable and even if they hit you even if he used all 5 of his weapon skills he wouldn't kill you even as a thief.

 

GS is dangerous but it has no reach necros do have 2 moves to pull you but they are also easily avoidable as the missile time is long.

I just learned how to deal with fighting a necro instead of crying to nerf them.

The problem is not "one scourge". You see one scourge, you pin him down easy.

The problem is scourge + scourge. You strike one down, try to finish him, either the necro gets ported by his companion scourge or you get fears everywhere. 
Or scourge + guardian, which provide the class with a reasonably high amount of stability\aegis it wouldn't get otherwise
Or scourge + tempest, you can't touch a necro with that stun aura on. Stun aura expires? Too bad now there's a shitload of barrier to get through.

The thing is that the class has some built-in weaknesses; poor mobility, susceptible to stun chains, projectiles and the likes, but those weaknesses are rendered useless by any kind of support, which games usually have plenty of.

@Genesis.5169 So you try to say.... just go in range Not in meele to fight him? Lmao this is conquest and the so called aoe spam is so big that you need to go off point to hit the scourge while he cant hit ya back. (As op said the most aoe skills of scourge get also at least some range). So saying "nah go on range and l2p" is no Argument since the aoe spam is simply too big plus too strong in what it do. Best thing for pvp would be a death nerf or simply a aoe field reduction as they do it on guardian symbols. (Also nerf barrier or give special scourge skills some CD so it will be less spamy.

 

 

Edit: Actually scourge is so strong that you dont even need to evade skills you could simply out barrier all damaging skills. Who hell need timed dodge to evade damage if you get enough barrier to simply outspam oponents damage lols.
