Killed the first dog fine, but the second dog revives in half a second after killing it, so there's no time to do the glide for 2 balls and bomb thing.

 

Or, am I not understanding how to kill the 2nd dog?

 

When I kill the 2nd dog, there's a red swirly on the ground for a half a second, then boom, it's up at 26-ish-% health. 😞

This happened to me yesterday, I Glided away in the hope it would reset itself landing on another platform for maybe 1 minute, and went back, and then it worked as intended

having the same issue with Tegon instantly healing back to 30%, moving away and coming back seems to do nothing for me

I hope i remember it right (been a long time since i did it), but i think you got to land and kill the 2nd dog with normal attacks.

you 'kill' a dog down to '0' hp with normal attacks, then scan the machine which then gives you an updraft, you collect 2 energy orbs which then gives you a missile to 'finish' the dog (takes 2? goes to kill it fully) and then do the other, but the dog doesnt stay at '0' hp long enough to do anything, i've retried this mission several times today with no success

You do at first, you have to land and bring him to zero, at which point he dies and becomes a corpse for a period of time while you jump up and do the same trick you did to the first dog (before he wakes up) to finish. 

 

I had to leave the game and start all over again the next day and it worked as expected. There's something going on where that second dog does some weird 'insta heal' to like 1/4 of his health after you kill him so you don't get the window to bomb his corpse.

after trying many times yesterday to complete and failing, attempted it today and completed it with no issues, go figure, all i can say is keep trying.
