game closes after selecting character and map loading screen after todays update

my game keeps instantly closing after chosing a character and the map loading screen appears the game will instantly shutdown. This happened after updating the game to latest version...

remove the file d3d9.dll from your Guild Wars 2\bin64 folder

sometimes having arc dps makes crash your game after an update yeah

Did that and everything worked fine.  This is my first time with Arcdps.  Should I wait for an update to arc or is it safe to add it back?

the add on was the issue indeed. you need to wait for it to update. wich is prob soon

Yeah the fix is already up, you can re-download the d3d9.dll in arcdps website. It usually vary between couple of hours to days depending if the fix is easy and/or if the persons coding it are around or not
