Payment Authorization Always Fails

The buy.guildwars2.com site keeps rejecting my payment authorization.

I've tried 2 different cards.

I've written the address multiple ways.

I am a Canadian customer.

I noticed this site is saving my credit card information, which I'd rather it didn't.  It's this saved information I've found is causing some issues because unless I create a new entry, it doesn't seem to accept my edits.

The failed message used to appear in the form.  Now it loads a new page without the form and just says Payment Authorization Failed.  There is no contact number.

Is this a time out page?

Very disappointing I couldn't get this to work.

Please contact support, they can usually but not always help with these issues. Be sure to provide all relevant information about what you tried to do, how you tried to pay and which error message you get.

The problem may be that ArenaNet's e-commerce partner DigitalRiver flagged your account using their AI fraid detection software. This is working far from perfect so many legitimate users or transactions get blocked. ArenaNet can pick this up and unblock your account at DigitalRiver allowing you to make purchases again.

I'm not sure if you are asking 'support' here on the forums for information, but if you are, you will need to 'Submit a Ticket' via the 'Support' link above/below for any answers.

I have the same issue - tried everything i could different browsers, differnt CC , paypal ingame buy with different cards .. nothing works.

 

Support wrote me:

I did what they asked for, but still the same error pops up .. really a bummer.

Played this game since launch, perhaps it's a sign to stop playing it ..... dunno 😞 .
