Can we get gliding and the Warclaw enabled in Edge of the Mists please?

It doesn't need a massive rework. Warclaw and gliding already exist in the game. The only work that has to be done is making zoning to determine where you can glide and I don't see why that is a massive effort.

They would also have to go through the map to find any places that could be exploited to get through with gliding or mounting.

Is that really worth the effort for a dead map?

 

Come back and ask if they bother to put pips in there, cause that's the only way people will go back to play there, rewards are everything to them.

There are already places that can be exploited with ground targeted leaps.

Yes it would. Now if they didn't care about people bypassing walls for like half the objectives that would be a different story, which I am fine with.

What is really needed is a debuff like the Birds that dismounts anyone within a certain range of the structure geometry.

 

Not having mounts inside of towers and keeps, or their outside walls would have been the easiest fix.

I am actually fine with the concept of a pvx map with "secondary" access.

 

Things like tricky jumping puzzle secret entrances that if you miss a jump you fall and die. The concept being that a small number of players could do it but it would be unlikely for a zerg to use it and defenders would have a distinct advantage defending it. Obviously this would come with a rebalance of mesmer's portal.

 

Or ladder tricks and traps where a couple players could climb it before it broke.
