Knyte.3978
Hi, I recently went back to GW2 and I have a Surface Pro X I use while travelling. I noticed you have a 32-bit version of the game. I downloaded the setup file, then launched it. It's now going on a loop opening and closing. What seems to be the problem? Will it work on my Surface Pro X? It opens a window with a download percentage at 0.. then it closes, then re-opens again. What's happening?
TinkTinkPOOF.9201
Because the Surface Pro X is an ARM based tablet, not a x86 based PC.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Even if it wasn't, the 32-bit client will no longer work at the end of August. (And, according to some forum posts, has stopped working already.)
Morbidos.7628
With the new x64 emulation Guild Wars 2 works on Surface Pro X. I'm testing it right now and at best performance I can get 32-34 FPS with 2880 x 1920 resolution in the main city I also found it quite fast at the beginning of the game to do the loadings. Dont forget that this is one ARM tablet. I think is better than my Ryzen 5 3500u on this game. Edited May 30, 2022 by Morbidos.7628
