More Individuality

Recommended Posts

I can see with EOD Anet start making the world more social and alive.

Friends go on a fishing trip, can it be more RPG ? Great on that.

But now we stand on that boat, and we all move the same way, human female strokes her hair every 30 seconds and Norn man cracking their necks.

What's needed for long time is a way to choose and customize the idle animation as well the fighting stances. Even the way our character laugh is something what could be individualized.

Make it gemshop packs and make some coin in the progress.

From there on a better Emote system, Animation are all in the game don't waste them with this clunky system they use now.

This way our char can reflect better it personality

In the beginning of gw2 there was a kinda try to implement a personality system? Charming, ferocity and honorable ? I remember from the personal story the way how we answer or direct ppl.

There will probably be fishing pole animations. I mean, you will be holding a pole so it would probably override the idle animations, much like holding a kite overrides them.

What I wanna know is, can we /sit and fish? Can we fish from chairs? Will there be a fishing chair? WILL THERE BE A FISHING HAT?

I always liked the idea of selectable idle animations. Provide a checklist for all animations available to an account and allow the player to check the ones they want to cycle through randomly.  I’d even include non-idle like /stretch or /shiver

This would be a low reward investment, and perhaps not worth it for the developer time but, it would be nice to have.

I think the future of micro-transactions in games could or should include animations and casting colors and themes.
