Nero.7369
Hey, I finished the legendary hammer Juggernaut this week, while the weapon itself looks awesome. I'm really disapointed, because of the armor effect. It kinda overrides the colorization of my whole armor, but it doesnt effect the weapon itself nor the back item, leading to a not well matching style. While I dont like the chrome effect itself, probably others do. I have a few Jugg-estions 😉 on my mind: A) Apply the Chrome effect to Juggernaut itself and the Backpack B) While the trinkets have a version with effects disabled, i really see need for such an version of juggernaut as well, so players can toggle the chromium effect off C) Armor Effect should be shown in the preview  For an item that is classified as legendary and "the hardest to achive" this is really frustrating. Specially after spending that much effort. And I think it's sad that I probably end up using another hammer skin instead. I guess there are other legendaries out there that could need some update aswell.
Cipisek.2147
There is an extremely thin line ANet would be walking on while doing this since for every update they do even if overall it might be for the better people are gonna hate it since they crafted their legendary for the look the saw first and not for the new one. Even with small things it can irritate people. So I doubt they will ever touch legendaries again. CashCow.9548
So you did zero research and just jumped into the leggy craft blindfolded? Edited August 4, 2021 by CashCow.9548 3 1
Mungrul.9358
To be fair, I've had Juggy for a while now too, and what looked pretty good in 2013 looks a bit ropey now. The OP's not wrong about the armour effect erasing any and all colour detail. With the update to DX11, I would hope ANet would take the chance to upgrade shaders, with the know-on effect being a better, more consistent Juggernaut effect. At the moment, even when it might look good in daylight in LA, as soon as you enter an area with coloured lighting, the effect most of the time ends up being muddy brown. 3
Game of Bones.8975
There are some I think deserve an individual upgrade to footfalls, sounds, or even draw/stow effects. Trying to tackle something that covers armor/back items may be too much.

The issue is you cant research how it would look on the exact same armor u actually have, thats why a preview would have been awesome. I took the risk, and it looked absoultely garbage on my existing armor style :S And it fits Predator, Bolt and HOPE already. And also a stowed juggernaut X)  3 hours ago, Cipisek.2147 said: There is an extremely thin line ANet would be walking on while doing this since for every update they do even if overall it might be for the better people are gonna hate it since they crafted their legendary for the look the saw first and not for the new one. Yep that's true, but adding a better preview and a version of juggernaut without the effect wouldnt effect those tho 🙂 We had some legendary weapon update already. E.g. gen1 scepter got a huge visual overhaul there... cant remember that well tho was 7 years ago Edited August 4, 2021 by NeroBoron.7285
Zera.9435
How about adding a projectile effect for Kraitkin? That would be a good update.
