Remember when they were talking about how hard they were going to focus on balancing this game for classes. Here we are 3 months later and necros are still broken. Yup such good quality game content! Or the fact they still can't manage bots in this game after how many years.. wow can't wait for the next polished TERD expansion (won't let me type correct word).

Necro's aren't broken your just bad at the game.

Here's a tip don't approach them and you win they have no way of keeping you on the aoe.

Yes, Just give them the node for 10 extra seconds, in reward you get 5 points for the kill and you get the node and a bonus dead necro for 20 seconds.

In what imaginary universe does a scourge played by someone with a positive number of hands die within 10 seconds.

 

You aren't going to overturn the entire consensus of every non-necro player in high-plat and legendary, and MAT winning teams, by going "just do range durhurhur". Scourge is pretty much universally agreed to be overtuned and hurting the game-mode, and has been for the last 6 months. You don't think that in all that time, none of the top teams noticed you could equip a ranged weapon? Maybe, just maybe, it's more complicated than that.

This has been my strategy for the past couple months now. It works. The scourges can’t get me, they’ve been outsmarted.

Most of us aren't high plat or legendary. So scourges in our games are double dodging nothing then using all their skills at once. So it's easy kill afterwards.
People like to parroting their favorite streamers or high rank players. But the thruth is, most most of us didn't saw truly broken scourge gameplay.

Hahahaha, yeah, we are so lucky that the main and ranked game-mode in gw2 is conquest, where u have to STAND on a node in order to defend it, earn points and eventually win the game. Just dont apporach them, right? Everything will be ok.
And I thought that after HoT everyone already learnt why bunker gameplay is not what people want to see in this game, lmao.

If I have to choose, I prefer to play against double/triple scourge for the rest of my life instead of doulbe rev porting from novision through a wall killing me in 0,5 sec without any counterplay if I somehow fail jumping puzzle of no-port spots.

This is for all the comments replying to mines.

You should have a ranged weapon on your bar unless your a weaver in which case you can just face tank the necro. Yes you can kill a necro in 10-15seconds at ranged dodging all the aoe i do it all the time on all 5 of my classes, tho on ele i just face tank the necro, if the necro opt's to get off the point and fight you can decap and continue the fight till your +1 or if your a dps build kill the necro.

 

Yes you all need to l2p.

Warriors are in a far better spot then necro's by alot.

There will always be stronger professions than other options in PvP or WvW when playing 1 vs 1. Necro is strong, it can also apply damage and condi in range without going melee. It also has one of the strongest kit of downed abilities in the game and the highest base health pool. If you want to destroy Necromancers you need to focus everything on ranged damage and learn to kite them as well because going ranged is not an assurance for you to win against them.
