"Master Tybalt... You found me..."

😭😭😭😭😭😭

This line always kills me. The conclusion of The Head of the Snake (S3E4) was one of the few really gut-wrenching moments in GW2's story for me. I remember the first time I experienced this episode I had just played through the Order of Whispers arc where you meet Demmi and she joins the order after running away from her father, Caudecus. It was such a cool moment to see her character resurface as a proficient agent, ready to return home and take down the man she once fled from. Her death genuinely made me sad, just thinking about this young woman who gave up everything she had to stop her father -- comfort, wealth, and ultimately, her life. The tragedy of it all made it so memorable to me. And the reference to Tybalt at the very end of her life... Ooph. How heartbreaking.

I'd love to see more moments like this moving forward. Not the tragedy of it all, per se, but seeing those old characters return, learning how they've changed, and how they can remind us of how far we've all come. Pull on my heartstrings in happy and sad ways by letting those older threads/characters gain new life. I don't expect too much of that in EoDs at least since it'll be a whole new continent, but rather just felt the need to bring attention to this moment and how much it always stuck with me.

I totally agree. Sometimes the storytelling is so shallow, than the writer stabs a emotinal dagger in our heart. Things like the two loving Asura from the personal story. Or the abuse of Logan by Queen Jennah. Please more of this!

Don't forget the two lovers in Sandswept Isles where the djinn would eventually go mad from his lover's death and then on the plateau the surviving party member talking to all his friends' ghosts. Heartbreaking.
