Zola.6197
ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜  This line always kills me. The conclusion of The Head of the Snake (S3E4) was one of the few really gut-wrenching moments in GW2's story for me. I remember the first time I experienced this episode I had just played through the Order of Whispers arc where you meet Demmi and she joins the order after running away from her father, Caudecus. It was such a cool moment to see her character resurface as a proficient agent, ready to return home and take down the man she once fled from. Her death genuinely made me sad, just thinking about this young woman who gave up everything she had to stop her father -- comfort, wealth, and ultimately, her life. The tragedy of it all made it so memorable to me. And the reference to Tybalt at the very end of her life... Ooph. How heartbreaking.  I'd love to see more moments like this moving forward. Not the tragedy of it all, per se, but seeing those old characters return, learning how they've changed, and how they can remind us of how far we've all come. Pull on my heartstrings in happy and sad ways by letting those older threads/characters gain new life. I don't expect too much of that in EoDs at least since it'll be a whole new continent, but rather just felt the need to bring attention to this moment and how much it always stuck with me.
Talan Ondar.4150
I totally agree. Sometimes the storytelling is so shallow, than the writer stabs a emotinal dagger in our heart. Things like the two loving Asura from the personal story. Or the abuse of Logan by Queen Jennah. Please more of this!
firedragon.8953
I love it too! You should probably edit your post for spoilers though. Â Spoiler New players would probably appreciate it if they haven't played through those story arches yet. Â

Don't forget the two lovers in Sandswept Isles where the djinn would eventually go mad from his lover's death and then on the plateau the surviving party member talking to all his friends' ghosts. Heartbreaking.
Dawdler.8521
Oh thats just because Doombringer Tybalt is literally there, claiming her soul for the resurrection of Zhaitan. You should be thankfull he's hidden in the mists. If you find a rotten apple on your nightstand... you're next. 2
ChronoPinoyX.7923
They really know how to tug people's feels when it came down to the both Order of Whispers and Vigil characters. Tybalt and Demmi were the first, then we have Almorra Soulkeeper next.  So... which Priory member is gonna take the flack?
