Shared Inventory Slots (from expansions)

Hello,

When I bought Path of Fire it included the Heart of Thorns expansion.  I guess it only gave me 1 shared inventory slot ...because the most I can currently get is 23 (24 with purchase of End of Dragons). If I buy the deluxe upgrade of Heart of Thorns for 2400 gems, will it give me the shared inventory slot I'm missing?  so I can reach the new max of 25?

The HoT Deluxe Upgrade doesn't come with a shared inventory slot, so no, you don't appear to get one from there.

Looking at the Expac purchase page, you can see the PoF doesn't offer the same Deluxe or Ultimate packages either anymore, so I would assume that the avenue to getting HoT or PoF shared inventory slots has been removed.

From the wiki:

Quote

If you receive Heart of Thorns free with Path of Fire, you do not get the shared inventory slot or the level 80 boost from Heart of Thorns, meaning you only get one boost and one slot, despite owning both expansions.

GW2 should allow people to buy more than 22 shared slots from gem store with this being the case.  Could still have it max at 25.  Seems unfair to penalize new players because they don't know the best way to purchase things initially.

A new player won’t have the chance to buy HoT or PoF deluxe or ultimate bundles at this point, including the shared inventory slot. This includes the Lily Pass, and other unique items that haven’t been made available elsewhere.  If you weren’t playing the game when a unique item was available, why does it matter?  You are playing the game now and have access to different unique stuff today going forward.

A new player with 0 shared inventory slots still has access to 22 of them.  23 if they buy the EoD bundle. I think a new player might ask the question what can I do with 25 shared inventory slots that I can’t do with 23?

The bigger question in my mind is why shared inventory slots are limited to 22+3 anyways.  Players, for whatever reason, want more of them. I assume it is a technical issue preventing this increase, or perhaps the saturation of players haven’t bought 20+ slots.

Shared inventory slots are not unique items.  It's a standard item made available in a unique way.  I want to have the chance to max out this standard account upgrade regardless of how it's acquired.  I don't see why we shouldn't be able to buy the max slots from the gem store.  Anyhow, I just wanted to know if I could have the max amount, I cannot.  That's all I wanted to know.  Thank you for your first reply.

Hi, I found out that with the new Expansion coming out and the last booster for 80 level for a character.   Once the Shard Slots come out again and you use the booster for a character to level 80.   You can buy another 2 Shared slots and the max for Shared Slots will be 30. 🙂
