What's the best way to find people doing Meta Events.

Your best option is to use the LFG as suggested above. The HoT metas are also time based so when you attempt to do them also matters. You can type /wiki et in game to have your web browser do to the page with event timers. The Verdant Brink night meta specifically has been one some players have had difficulty find maps for as the majority of players just camp matriarch. If your goal is to get the chests for the body armor, that may be an alternative route.

You could also try making a request LFG for the meta's as well.
Other players seeing that there is interest in doing the meta may think "ohh I fancy doing that, why not" 
If you have a Commander Tag and start a squad you're likely to attract even more people.

Building slightly on what everyone else has said:

1. It's a good idea to head to the map and start looking for a group before the event is due to start. Otherwise people may give up if it gets to the start time and there's no one around, or there may not be enough time left to finish it once a group gets together.
2. If you don't see a group for what you want to do make your own! If you have a commander tag and you feel comfortable leading it you can do that but you could just put an advert in LFG so other people can see someone wants to do it and start getting into the same map.

Also don't forget you can ask your guild/s for help as well. It doesn't have to be an organised guild event (although if that's an option it would be a good way to get lots of people there) you could just say you want to do it and it needs more people and ask if anyone would be willing to join in.

Does anyone know a guild or a person who, after a long time, makes a T4 night meta in Verdant Brink (EU server)?
