kawaiiboy.2685
buff https://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/thumb/b/b2/Chemical_Rounds.png/25px-Chemical_Rounds.png Chemical Rounds For PVP by adding pierce to all pistol skills and 20% reduced cooldown. get rid of all kits and allow engineer to have 2nd weapon swap. add another trait of condition. plus its power build is weak due to weak traits Edited August 13, 2021 by kawaiiboy.2685

But buffing a trait thats already pretty strong is not the way. I would rather add some combo finishers to pistol or just buffing condition durations...or simply add the piercing to the weapon skills instead of in a trait

The engi trait increases all condition durations of ur pistols by 33%. Thats a 33% condi dmg buff for ur pistols, not to mention the 120 condi dmg. There are absolutely worse traits. Lets say you go with 1500 condi dmg....alone the 120 condi dmg is a 8% buff for ur condi dmg. + 33% condi duration on all ur weapon skills...thats really good tbh. Revenant has a trait in core that increases condi dmg by 120...nothing more...be glad u even have another effect. Also you cant compare traits tbh. You cant cry for buffs for ur traits because another class has a better trait for condi or power. Renegade is really strong atm, even if the trait gives only 120 condi dmg and nothing else. There is no need for another effect just because XX has a better trait for condi dmg. But as i said already: I would support a buff for condi engi. Even more because the core weapons are mainly condi and engi has no proper condi spec. Holosmith is mainly power focused and scrapper sth like a tank-support. i just dont want to put sth on random traits. Piercing also does not really help a class to be stronger imo. I would like sth like combo finishers on pistols or just increasements of condi dmg traits without adding new effects. Zhaid Zhem.6508
The trait is huge buff on itself. Imo issue is more Pistol skills and the long cast times. Like the poison dart : one target, no fragmentation, 1.5 sec animation, you expect more than 5 stack of poison. Same with Static Shot, the skill is okai in competitive modes; but it could get a mechanic if there is only one target for PvE.

Im pertaining to PVP aspect. chemical rounds is not enough for PVP but sure for pve those monsters wont be dodging it or cleansing it.
Random Wax Orc.7695
Change Grenadier trait to not auto aggro on heal, and instead have short buff on heal allowing explosions to heal self/allies. Give Rifle Jump Shot some cc or knockdown aoe. Give Rifle Net Shot a pull.
