xXMapcoXx.9614
Not turn off the compass, not turn off the objective, just turn off the personal story star? I am sick to death of seeing it on all my alts and the only u.i option i have turns off the objective as well. SO, anyone know how to turn this thing off? Parasite.5389
only by completing the personal story, and not having any active living world or expansion story mission active.
Telgum.6071
I feel your pain and I can tell you, there are only two ways to fix it. 1. Finish both personal story and LW2 2. Install arcdps and configure it to hide the personal story. The only downside is you'll have to disable it after every major patch and download again whenever the dev updates it. 2

Press F11, goto General Options second option in User interface "Content Guide" select that one and set it to Disable Personal Story. I have content guide turned entirely off, and the only characters that dont have the story thing in the top right corner are my two characters who have completely finished the story. Only for the Content Guide to point (or not to point) to your next Story location.
Xanadrine.4352
This is why I would like a more customizable ui so you can move size and show or not.
Wim.2671
I feel your pain. I'm fine with core story parts. But I'm forced to do LW2 with every single my characters to get rid of these stars are such a pain. But I did it because it was intolerable. As I said I've been of OP's position, doing research about what works and what doesn't. That method won't hide the personal story.

Ah sorry guys, thanks for correcting me, it seems like I forgot to mention that you also need to go to General options -> Dynamic HUD -> Objectives -> Never Show. This will make it so that the objective is hidden ( which includes the personal story).

Yes, that will remove the Personal Story indicators, as well, as any Achievements tracked, or any other event notifications.

Inculpatus cedo.9234
Yes, I think it's not a viable solution, as well.
