I think it's very likely to be the bullet.  I'm optimistic and if done properly, an offhand pistol would complement a melee main hand very nicely....providing that skill 4's cooldown is not so prohibitive.

With Guard and Necro taking what they did i've been thrown off a lot from my original predictions and am rethinking all of them xD

Without the duel swords my pick on thief has to go to the Mask now which was originally my Warrior choice, or the Beast looking Cowl icon which was my choice on Ranger.
And Necro got what I was sure would be Engineer so that one has to go somewhere else.. 

For Warrior I guess the hulking icon could be a good choice.. maybe something that works a lot like Braham's Champion form.. a hand to hand brawler which I am very sure that icon is representing, which was the whole reason I originally assigned it to Guardian in the first place.

I think bullet is rifle for elementalist,i dont see them giving dual  pistol to warrior in cantha nor a off hand pistol, wont fit the theme IMO.

Its the Mask or the flame for warrior.

Does it have to fit cantha.. or can it fit the theme of the mists?
Since we have to travel the mists to get to cantha if we take anything from the trailers. This might be a bit far... but what if the elite spec is based on the Mist ARENA Commando's, a lost commando trains the warrior's to specialise as the april fools joke come real. Honestly id love to summon an attach helecopter to take down some 'big chickens' as an elite skill. Do note that we already have Whispers keepers (heavy armour pistol pistol) and Charr soldiers with heavy armour and pistol pistol. The specs do not have to all be related to cantha, some honestly could be specs designed in preperation to go to cantha.

I still feel that the flame will be Ele and providing it with a longbow as ele does not have a single target ranged weapon (or reliable ranged weapon). I'm set on thief getting the mask icon with the greatsword.

I just hope like hell the elite spec for warrior is revealed soon holding two weapons in hand.

EDIT:

In addition to this, thinking about the new elite specs shown, in particular the necromancer; this spec shows Cantha is not using outdated technoledgy anymore, Cantha is shown to have advanced, using dragon jade cannons on their turtles rather than catapults and standard cannons. So could a heavy armoured pistol pistol user fit the theme of cantha? I should coco.

idk really, I wouldn't be surprised if they give the bullet icon so my vote goes to that but,

looking at 3 espec icons, they are already weird. guard gets a thief like icon, mesmer gets an icon that kinda fits to rangers, necro gets an icon that fits engineers better. so it could be that feline shape or I can even say it could be the rev icon which is not really far fetched at this point. we'll never know before they reveal.

That would be interesting if we got the animal mask type icon. If warrior class got a pet, I'd be so amused and intrigued that I would forget what I initially wanted from the espec. I remember someone saying that we might get pirate class because of boats and I feel the same way in that. I would be so intrigued and amused about being a pirate that I would be accepting of it.

 

This is entertainment at the end of the day. Winning in PVP and WvW would be have to take a backseat while I have fun with a weird and interesting espec if given one.

yeah, a pirate concept would be nice, probably would go to thieves though. I'd be amazed if that's the icon. But I fear if they ever give us an animal icon that'd be a mule not a cool feline 😛  I mean look at the bullet icon, the one that people believe we'll get. It already looks like a vibrating toy for adults penetrating something.

I’ve convinced myself I want main hand shield, so the buff arms/double shields is my vote.

 

going by leaks though, it’s the bullet. If it is pistol, I hope it has a lightning-ish theme to it. That would make me very happy. Also if it’s good in pvp/wvw…

I dont understand everyones obsession with shield in the main hand, could you explain why people want it and what it would bring to the table 😧

Well, it’s half meme, half pure awesomeness. Think about it, it would fill the mid range role great. Auto attack is a 900 range shield throw that bounces. Who doesn’t want to be captain America? The 2 skill can be some sort of simultaneous attack and block, providing a balance of offense and defense, and the 3 skill can be a giant leap where you smash your opponents with your shield, like it’s a chair being used in the WWE. And the best part? The Adrenaline skill. Oh the adrenaline skill. Haven’t you ever wanted to free fall out of a plane with nothing but a shield to cushion your landing? Well now you can! Become a living meteorite through your own jumping power and descend from the heavens, reflecting all projectiles launched at you, dealing heavy damage and blowing away your enemies! All in all, there are only pros and no cons to main hand shield.

I just keep thinking how silly it would look in game haha, also the shield skins would clip way too much.

(I am so glad that 1 year ago I was correct on my gamble! Every NPC i saw with two pistols just screamed warrior every time)

No I want a dual burst a main hand/off hand burst so if I'm dual wielding shields I get to play the symbols like I'm in a matching band with someone's head in the middle. 😂

But if warrior gets the pistol, Ele gets the hammer and Thief gets the Scepter then the icons make most sense in this order;
Flame - Ele - this icon represents a hammer smashing the floor in an explosion
Mask - Thief - this tips its fendora to the oni from gw1. possible summoner type spec
Bullet - Warrior - Clearly being the only other spec getting a pistol in the elite specs, the icon only makes sense on warrior out of all the remaining classes.
