Loboling.5293 Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Is it intended that Phantasms do not supply blades if the target dies during it's attack animation, before it's despawn animation? Scepter 2 (Illusionary Counter) can go past 3 Blades just fine. I could find no other skill that would treat 3 as the cap for summoning. It does not interact with Illusionary Inspiration or Signet of the Ether for the blade/clone portion. The phantasms do proc them both as normal, but no blades generated seem to. TheAgedGnome.7520 Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 (edited) In Auric Basin, the dagger skills would always state "Miss" when attacking Mordrem banners and the banners would take no damage. Switching to greatsword without moving, the banners would take damage as expected, so it was not a terrain issue. This happened multiple times along an escort quest. Solomons.9713 Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 (edited) signet of the ether (healing skill) and illusionary inspiration (inspiration grandmaster trait) does not work with blades so deceptive evasion (dueling grandmaster trait) does not work with this trait and skill above, it should work since core can. For the Virtuoso, 1 Psychic dagger instead. However, it seems that once you reach 3 daggers, the Autoattack no longer continues to generate more daggers. It caps off at 3. The Scepter 2 works fine. FranzM.1298 Posted August 18, 2021 Share Posted August 18, 2021 (edited) I think overall there needs to be some QoL so that any skill that creates a "clone" creates a stocked blade without targets. To me it would be an improvement to the synergy with core. Also I find a lot of skills cancel each other but maybe it's about skill and timing. EDIT: the underwater bladesongs have no character animation, only the bladesong animation. They cast just like mantras. Edit: Um!
