Rehashing Music in Tyria

Recommended Posts

Dear Devs,

Please return the music-per-map sequence that existed before Heart of Thorns. No need for cheery music interludes from Kryta or Maguuma pieces in the Tomb-City of Arah. ‘The Promenade of the Gods’ belongs to Orr, not Lion’s Arch, regardless of Hallowe’en.Create special festival pieces for Hallowe’en, where possible.

Let Kryta, Orr, Ascalon, Maguuma, The Shiverpeaks each have their respective music tracks intact, please. Same applies to dungeons.

Grand music has been made for Guild Wars 2, all in the spirit of Guild Wars, and in keeping with the spirit of the new Maguuma.

Cutting it into clips and inserting it here and there does not go unnoticed- it jars the mood of the places we go.

Kindly respect all the effort made by yourselves and the honourable composers you had/have/will recruit to make the spirit of Tyria even more beautiful by providing us with (literally epic) music of such high quality, even non-gamers can enjoy it when they hear us playing.

Path of Fire? Excellent job. The 'oriental fantasy' combat music is a bit too grandiose for the occasional scuffle with the random NPC. Save it for the big, fancy bounty fights.

Thank you, with much appreciation.
