WvW Backpiece Question

When buying the last piece of WvW ascended backpiece (Commander's Wings of War), does it matter if you get catmander or standart tag first? I want to buy catmander tag first for obvious reasons.

I don't think it matters if you possess either the Standard, or the Catmander (a Commander Tag is a Commander Tag), but you can always check the Wiki (link above); the information might be found there.

I checked the link and it says "commander's icon.". Nothing about the Catmander Tag. I am simply asking if anybody tried to buy it with only the Catmander Tag, because the Wiki doesn't say anything about it.

Well, the Wiki does say that using the Catmander Compendium unlocks the Commander ability. Again, I can't imagine it would make a difference. Still, you can contact the CS Team for information, whilst awaiting a definitive post. Or, ask the question on the Wiki page. Or go ahead and acquire the Catmander Tag, and if it doesn't work, contact the CS Team for assistance.
