Game blackscreens with different wifi adapters?

So I've been having this weird phenomenon lately where if I use a particular wifi adapter, after a random period of time, it will blackscreen disconnect my game. I can still hear music and background sound as well as see and move my cursor, but no sounds of other players around me or ambiance. I've been having this issue a lot with an ALFA Network AC1200 dual band AWUS036AC. This gives me excellent connection and hardly any lag or ping issues, at the cost of blackscreening at random moments. However whenever I swap to a Linkpal AC11 wifi adapter, I have mediocre connectivity, but no blackscreen issues. Can anyone help identify this for me? I'd very much love to use the ALFA one as it provides near flawless connection for me.
