Game chose an option for me when I clicked "I need more time to think about this"

During the "Blazing the Trail" mission, where you have to decide what Amoon should do, I as for more info on Joko, then clicked "I need time to think" or whatever the option was, and the game acted like I chose Joko.

Then it took me out of the instance and I got to replay it again, so that was nice. Still confusing, though.
