Hi, and thanks for checking out our recruitment post!Shadows of the Valkyrie is looking for some fun, interesting,and mature people to join our GW2 family!

Our guild mission is pretty simple.We hope to provide a comfortable, friendly, and helpful environment for all.A place where we can all enjoy the game without drama or elitism. We'd rather build friendships and create a fun haven rather than being ‘the best’.Therefore, striving to be inclusive, open-minded, and respectful of others is paramount. We want our guild's greatness to be determinedby it's community and not it's size or efficiency of content.

Our Guild

~ NA based, and mainly active evenings and weekends central time

~ We are looking to stay as a small/medium sized guild. People that are active and are interested in being part of the community are preferred.

~ Primarily PVE based with a laid-back approach. We will be focusing on end-game content such as Raids and Fractals, while also helping our members progress. We have quite a few members newer to this environment and are all learning as we go.

~ Lvl 66 guild hall, We have recently returned to the Lost Precipice.

~ Discord is required (voice is not required, however the bulk of communications will be through our discord. During group events you just need to be able to listen. You never have to talk if you don’t want to).

~ All inclusive (no judgment or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, orientation, identity, or quirkiness)

~ Drama and elitist free ( we have a zero tolerance policy)

~ No guildie left behind (although we enjoy accomplishing our goals, we will never sacrifice a guildie to do so. We are fixated on being helpful and patient)

~ We’re open-minded and are not concerned with doing speed runs/clears. We want ppl to have fun and enjoy the content without the pressure of being ‘perfect’.

~ No rep requirement as long as you participate with the guild. Of course, repping is a bonus.

Our Current Teams

~ Shadow Tribe- Raid Progression group. We may not be experts yet, but we are trying. Thur/Fri nights 8:30pm cst. Currently full, but backups are welcome.

~ Wolf Tribe- T4 fractals, Tue/Wed/Fri 7:30pm cst. Currently full.

~ Dragon Tribe- T4 fractals, Thurs/Fri 10:30pm cst. 1 opening~ Raven Tribe- Fractal progression group (currently t2/t3), Mon/ Wed 8:30pm cst. 2 openings for Mon/ 1 opening for Wed.

~ Blood Tribe- Flexible group for fractal CM interest

~ We do have open/ training raid nights that will be re-added as interest grows. We will also add more static based groups if necessary.

Looking for

• Respectful, mature, and open-minded individuals who want to be a part of a close knit guild.

• Members who are active within the guild. We want ppl who will engage and be a part of the guild and not just a name on the roster. We will purge both inactive members and those that never try to be a part of the guild community.

• Patience as we grow and learn together while building a great guild community

• People interested in pursuing end-game content, such as T4 fractals and Raids.

• For Raids/Fractals- people who are open, adaptive, group oriented. (Those who refuse to adapt to the groups needs or mechanical requirements, aren’t open to change or improvement, and/or aren’t willing to practice and work towards group synergy are part of the toxicity issue and will be encouraged to seek gamelife elsewhere)

• Diverse- Not necessarily required but encouraged. People who can play (or willing to work towards) multiple roles are preferred. Life happens, sometimes ppl can’t make a team night, so diversity helps for group comps. Also, I don’t like to force ppl into any role jail. We all want to play something different sometimes.

Hey-o,returning player here. I'm a casual player looking to enjoy the game and meet some new people on the way. Don't really have any experience with raids nor fractals, but do enjoy the world events and pvp.

Hey Hayven, you are more than welcome to try us out, but you should know that our primary guild events are raids and fractals. Although we may occasionally do some world events together, they are rare and we really don't have too many ppl that pvp.

Yea no problem, i wanna get into raids and fractals too, just gotta learn about em and all that. But we be happy to join ya guys
