MacOS Client Update

Hi Mac users,

Apple is preparing to release MacOS Catalina. This update marks the end of support for 32-bit apps. If you play Guild Wars 2 using a 32-bit MacOS client, it will stop working with that update going forward.

If you are using the old, unsupported Transgaming Guild Wars 2 client, you will have to uninstall your 32-bit MacOS client by following these instructions: https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001707707-Uninstalling-Guild-Wars-2 When you are done, you can download the 64-bit MacOS client here: https://account.arena.net/welcome

If you were using the current Guild Wars 2 client for Mac, but haven’t upgraded to MacOS Catalina, simply launch your client and it will update automatically to the 64-bit client! In the case where you already upgraded to MacOS Catalina, then you will have to uninstall your client by following these instructions: https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001707707-Uninstalling-Guild-Wars-2 When you are done, you can download the 64-bit MacOS client here: https://account.arena.net/welcome
