lala.9156
Hello everyone, our guild, Hound of Abbadon would like to request permission from ArenaNet to create a marketplace discord channel to internally trade items.Sometimes people want to trade skins or buy runes, that someone already has at hand and because of that a lot of our guild members requested for us to make such a channel. The issue now is that we are very much aware that in Guild Wars 2 Rules of Conduct it says at point 9 :You may not buy, sell, transfer or auction (or host or facilitate the ability to allow others to buy, sell, transfer or auction) , or offer to transfer, sell or auction, or buy or accept any offer to transfer, sell or auction, any game Account or game Content, including (without limitation) game characters, character attributes, items, objects, currency, credits or copyrighted material, or any other intellectual property owned or controlled by ArenaNet, Inc., NCsoft, the Service, or our licensors, nor may you encourage or induce any other player to participate in such prohibited transaction(s), except as may be specifically authorized by the Service and by ArenaNet or NCsoft, without first obtaining our express written permission.Since we are aware of this rule we didn't want to just to create a channel were members can trade, first we wanted to fulfill the requirement of[...] except as may be specifically authorized by the Service and by ArenaNet or NCsoft, without first obtaining our express written permission. So we would like formally request the permission to create a marketplace in our discord channel with disclaimers for the members and middleman, similar to what r/GW2Exchange does.We will moderate the channel, put the permission as pinned message in our channel, have set middleman that don't profit from anything and make sure to warn people about the risks of not trading with the TP.With many kind regards,Lara from Hound of Abbadon
Inculpatus cedo.9234
You can't do that here. You would have to contact ArenaNet at the address given in the EULA.At worst, the CS Team.Good luck.
