To be honest, as a long term WVW player, and after the disheartening announcement the other day, running a bunch more nerfs across players favorite classes specifically aimed at wvw comp changes is going to do little for the morale of wvw players. There is little in these balance changes that would in fact excite anyone, and very likely will just convince players to move on from the game vs. Try something new. Ussually I embrace balance patch changes with enthusiasm hoping that something fun and new will come my way and in general they ussually spawn the fun of coming up with new builds and armor changes. What is proposed here fills me with a growing sense of worry as they hold little in them that would attract people to try something new or even continue on. In a game mode with a shaky at best future.

  3. So to be clear, I see on your picture they are hitting 10 targets for 2-3k each, for a total of 20-30k damage total across 10 targets. So with that in mind, it is okay for a rev to hit 5 targets for 10-15k a piece (it actually sometimes straight up downs people) then rather have the damage spread out across more targets. Okay well I am okay with this then, please remove the scourges ability to damage pulsing from itself, and double the damage that it does to five targets. I think that is quite reasonable. I will take it, as a scourge main I am find with standing out of melee and doing double damage. Im still not even going to do as much damage as rev, but its definitely preferable for a light class to stay out of Melee, and hence in wvw the pirate ship meta is once more reborn.

  4. We did not have to pay for the new mount. It was free. After POF was launched any new mounts we are given for free are pretty nice icing on the cake. So I approve of them being sensible when it comes to time and resources.

    WvW got an influx of people that it badly needed. People I am sure bought the new skins for this mount,(though many did not as well) which gives me hope that they will develop in this area (WvW)further in the future.

  5. Finally! We asked for this during the Adopt-a-Dev program and I know it was put off at that time! Just a note-your going to get lots of the Server leaders on here freaking out. Let them. Do what is best for the majority of players so that WvW will be reinvigorated.

    Friendships and comraderie are easy to maintain if you truly wish it. I have friends from across different servers and I always will. This just gives us a chance at a better rotation. Sometimes the rotation will be a win and other times it will shake up your life.

  6. Hi, Aggie here, oddly strangely my guild (BOM) came up with the name Steve on their own for him the first year of Lab. We were running around and he popped up everywhere I went so they started caling him My Ex-Boyfriend Steve (it was a joke don't have an Ex named that). It stuck and we have perpetuated his name every year. Our posts date back about it on these boards. We are often commanding every night of the Lab during the busiest hours and so it widespread out to other groups.

    So I don't know who was first but,think that confirms his name is Steve. Also, I like John for Tequatl.
