[Do raids need easy/normal/hard difficulty mode? [merged]]

GW2 should learn the lesson WoW did about having raid difficulties. Sooner rather than later. You still have Mythic for the people who want a serious challenge, heroic for casual players, normal for pugs, and LFR for ...special people or those that just want story.

It works well and should be duplicated on any game that wants raiding to be part of its major content.

No. Stop being cheap and support the game that you enjoy. I swear GW2 is the ONLY MMO where people think it isn't mandatory to buy expansions to continue the game.

This is a thought experiment of course, since new races will never ever be added. They'd have to design new skeletons/animations for every single profession and it would take a massive amount of development resource for VERY little gain.

You don't have to actually break the bar you know, just roll away. Also do more than 1000 DPS and you'll be fine.

Firebrand for sure, Dragonhunter is so damn boring and flat compared to the depth and complexity of firebrand. The things you can do with the set of skills provided by tomes is so high. It feels great doing CM's and t4's and feels great in open world.

DH never felt any different than just playing core guardian. Firebrand actually feels like a whole different profession.

Big pretty maps, needs meta events/bosses, please buff PVE spellbreaker and never ever release one game mode (PVE/PVP/WVW) specs ever again.

Mounts are better than HoT masteries in the sense that you still have to solve the puzzles yourself using mount abilities.

This was honestly a really easy boss, took probably 30-45s to kill in as a melee. I suggest examining your build and gear choices if you had trouble, and honestly there's probably some l2p there too.

I actually saw this thread before I got to that part of the story and was wondering what the hubub was about. Imagine my disappointment when it was so faceroll.
